While many new builds feature square set finished ceilings, homeowners wanting a more traditional finish can opt to use cornices. There is a wide selection of cornice profiles to choose from, spanning from quite basic designs to extremely decorative – the depth of the profile can also vary significantly.
There is quite a skill involved in properly installing and fixing cornices, particularly deep, decorative profiles. Our skilled cornice fixers will ensure clean and crisp corner joins that are sanded smooth and ready for painting.

One of our display homes in Box Hill required a curved ceiling over the entry void to blend in with the style of this French Provincial home. I spoke with Michael about this feature and then met Joe on site – without any fuss they made it happen and now this ceiling will be a major showcase of this display home
TM Linings Director, Michael, is proactive – as an example he advised us to change full height tiling jobs to a square set, which has saved return trips and build time for us. From Michael’s involvement, we know that best practice will always be applied and we are kept up-to-date, first hand on any developments in the plasterboard industry
